Heat slow to get warm

This winter I have noticed that the heat is taking longer to get warm then I remember last year. Anyone else having the problem. Now I am only driving about 4 miles to work but last winter I had to turn the heat down because it was to hot. Now I have it on high all the way to work. Nothing has changed from last year. Truck still sits outside and I use the block heater when it's going to be lower then 35 degrees. It does get hot but takes a lot longer then before. Also I think the blower on this truck is way to small and does not blow enough air.

Just a couple WAGs... If you think it's an airflow issue maybe the cabin filters are glogged? Was it a dusty summer? Do you have anything behind the rear seats/ (I think that's where the filters are). OR is the water/coolant getting up to temp the same as last year? I know it's hard to tell from the guage but maybe your TStat is stuck open?

Good luck

I will check the filters. At the campground this summer it was very dusty most of the time and that very well could be a issue.
