for general cleaning, If its real dirty..... Blue Coral Upholstry Cleaner For light, general cleaning, I would use simple green (10 water:1 ratio) For protection, B303 or Primeshine (made by Pro), that is assuming its vinyl, if its cloth, then after cleaning, leave it alone. |

Extang makes a protectant for tonnaeu cover's. I think it is called tonneau tonic, I think.

What are the covers made of that lasts so long?

303 is the best, used it on boat vinyl, and that stuff takes a beating from the sun. You probably have to buy it on line, if your boat supply doesn't have it. Aircraft stores also have it.

I have had Extang covers since 1997. On my 3rd and I have never used a product on them. Out here in AZ, any kind of stuff acts like suntan lotion and frys the cover.

"Topping" or cleaner made for convertible tops ? I've seen people use Armour All and different stuff.
|
Armour all is silicone based, and they say not to use silicone on the covers. :-wink
