Rick. Looks sharp.

Sweet! Pretty easy install?
|
The install was fairly simple. The hard part was when you remove the 2 bumper bolts when you install the brackets the bumper drops down some and you just want to be sure to get the bumper back where you want it. I took my time and it took about 45 minutes, and thats only because I very picky on measurements.

Looks great! Would love to see some side shots too.
|
Will work on some side veiws.

I was going to install the Aries Big Horn 4" bars on mine, until I found out that I would loose the front tow rings. I decided that I would rather have the tow rings than the bars so I scrapped the plan. Looking at HD front bumpers now.

Very nice!

I can't tell by your pictures, was you able to install your tow hooks with this bullbar?
|
The tow hooks are not even involved. The mounting brackets for the bull bar go right over the tow hooks.
|
Thanks for info, getting ready to order one

Mine is a Steelcraft Bull Bar and I bought through Jegs. $207, they were the cheapest. One recomendation on the Steelcraft, there's a removable lower brush grille, if you decide to leave this on then you might want to consider putting on a piece of flexible rubber edge molding for doors on the very bottom edge of the grille so that you don't cut you fingers when you clean the air dam.

Part number of Bullbar
Rick,
Do you recall the part number of the Steelcraft Bull Bar that you ordered from Jegs? I really like that the tow hooks at still in tacted and not replaced by the bullbar. Thanks, Jim:-wink |
