opinions on where to put the spare

Tn guys I have a thread going in the 94.5-97 psd. I want your opinion on where to put the spare tire. I will be doing a lift in the, spring and running 36x12.50 I am pretty sure that will not fit in the stock spare carrier. Right now I am fabricating heavy duty bumpers and thought of doing like on tiregate.com but my design won't allow the pivot for this. I don't want to sacrifice bed space as I ride atvs a lot. Any opinions? I am pretty good at fabricating anything with an idea...

A 36" tire will not fit between the frame rails.

But if you are doing a lift why not see if it would press up against the bottow of the fram instead of between it. Just be sure it will not rub the springs.

Or go aussie style and put it on top of the cab.

Or the coastal style and hang from front bumper. ( not my favorite )

Neal I was actually thinking about a roof rack but can't figure out how to secure it. Without leaks and it be stable.

I have one of those! After Christmas, it will probably work on Bigfoot!!

I have seen the one's mounted on roof racks. I'd hate to have to go after that when I needed it! I've seen some mounted on the inside bedrails of fleetside trucks. I wonder if that would work?

With the tire being 12.5 wide I don't knowvif I would be able to get the four wheeler in there. I really like the step side on the obs but don't know how that would work with two fuel tanks.
