2001 f250 gauges not working
 

My trucks gauges have quit working. They sometimes come back but don't work long. I have changed the shifter handle out and did find the wire chaffed, but still no gauges. I have the small fuse box, so no fuse 41,45 etc... the shifter problem blew the #19 fuse once, but this was after the gauge problem started. Checked for power to cluster and found the ignition source to be working as well as the keep alive and the ground checked out also. It's strange when it comes back to life at random times like sitting at a stoplight or just idling along in traffic. Everything else seems to work fine. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have same thing going on. What was the fix?
