WALMARTSWARRIOR 02-23-2012 06:52 PM

love it man! keep up the pics and let me know where you go in that thing. Im going to see how deep mine can get in some snow this weekend (hopefully). what size tires are you running?

hav24wheel 02-23-2012 06:56 PM

I have 305/70R16s. They are pritty much a 33x12.50

I'm looking at swapping a T19 into it right now.

WALMARTSWARRIOR 02-23-2012 06:58 PM

im a fan of the blacked out wheels. is yours the four captains chairs model or did yours come with the bench seats?

hav24wheel 02-23-2012 07:38 PM

Has 4 captains chairs, that a rear bench. The rear bench folds down into a queen size bed.

WALMARTSWARRIOR 02-24-2012 09:18 AM

awsome. mine came with the four captains chairs but is missing the rear seat/bed. my buddy runs a junk yard so he is keeping an eye out for me. if you have time post some interior pics man. I would like to see it.

looks like fun :) if i wasn't using mine as a contractor van, i'd think about a 4x4 conversion, but its tall enough already!!

Finally got the 10.25 LS axle under the van. Also used another set of zero rates to push the axle forward 1.5 inch forward.

Got some 4.10s on the way that I scored for $51 total with shipping. NEW in the box, Genuine Gear brand. Hopefully I can get a smokin deal on some for the D60 too.

Great job on 4x4 setup and posting to keep track of thread

hav24wheel 06-03-2012 09:03 PM

Thanks.

Here's a small update. Front has 4.10s now too.

When you installed the 10.25 rear was it a bolt in or did you have to move the spring pads on the housing? Also was the width the same ? thanks

hav24wheel 06-09-2012 07:58 AM

It wasn't a bolt in deal. I had to move the spring perches. It made the ubolts really close to the brake backing plate. Makes it interesting to get the bleeder screws loose.

It is a tab narrower than the D60 that was in there. My slider use to hit the rear tire and stop about 2/3s open, and now it can open all the way. It still hits the tire, but at the fully open position.

hav24wheel 07-03-2012 10:53 PM

Did some fender trimming to keep the tires from rubbing when flexing.

Made some heater shut off valves to make the A/C more efficient.

Also am in the process of adding trans cooler and filter, electric pusher fans, and a custom grill.
