Please welcome our newest member: "The Woodhauler"

He's from LaPine (close to you Allen!) and is into hot rods. Should fit in here real good!

Here's hoping this new member will participate in the Chapter. The last 5 members I approved haven't even shown up yet.........

Welcome Woodhauler!

My name is MIke, and I'm happy to be here. I've been retired for 14 years and building hot rods evry sence. I enjoy the challenge that comes with working with Ford running gear and am hooked on 385 series and 300 I 6 engines. I am currently building a 66 Galaxie for Bonnyville and getting ready to start my 52 Ford pannel project, it will be Cadillac powered with Jag suspension front and rear, when I get started I'll post a build thread and will welcome comments and ideas from all that are interested. If anybody has been to Madras this is me, I don't chase points anymore but do like to take this car out a couple of times a year just to keep in practice.

Got any snow on the ground yet?
My best buds mom lives just off State Rec. Road on the Little Deschutes, we catch some nice German Browns right outta her front yard.

It's been cold and we have had an inch or so but it's gone except in the shade, I'm off Burgiss Rd. in Ponderosa Pines.

Good looking 68 Ranchero. I have a 67 in mt shop, belongs to my son Allen Jr. I do have a friend that runs in Madras, Pat Arnott, runs a Camaro.

The only outing this year for me was the last nostalgia race, Madras has gotten huge. When I started racing after I retired 25 cars was about the average now it's over 100.

I know where that is, we take that road before heading off to Crane Prairie and Wickiup on Century drive.
