87 F150 fuel Problems

I have an 87 F150 w/ 5.0. The truck was running fine, then wouldn't start. it turns over but won't fire. The fuel pump on the rail was not being energized. I replaced pump and filte and nothing. I checked for fuel shutoff on pasenger side and couldn't find it so replaced fuel pump relay. I then found the fuel shutoff switch on drivers side (Chilton pay attention!). Depressed button, turned key and pump is energized but still truck won't start. Can someone please help! Do I have to reset anything? What else can I try? Thanks

You really need to find out if spark is present. Also, if it is, then you need to find out what your fuel pressure is. If the pressure is too low she won't start, but I would suspect spark, until you elimiate that...check for spark, or spray a little starting fluid in the intake tube, then try to start

Thanks for the reply

Turned out to be a bad relay out of the box.
