ok my fellow flathead freaks ........

can one of you tell me if the isky and speedway adjustable lifters are hollow or solid ????? gonna order some parts me hopes soon and they are on the list . kinda leaning towards the flatattack hollow ones red's carries but still weighing the options . also any of you guys tell me does the factory 8cm cam got a lope to it or smooth idle ?? either way it's going in but kinda curious ........:):):):)

AFAIK the only ones that are hollow are the Flatattack ones, and some of the old Johnsons.

If you are using the 8CM cam, why use adjustables? Henry's production lifters are the lightest of all of them, extremely durable, and no worries about going out of adjustment for tens of thousands of miles. If your engine is apart, it's not "that" much more work to get the proper clearances with stock lifters. Adjustables are needed on reground cams and some hi-lift new cams, but an 8CM is a stock cam.

The 8CM cam is a smooth idle.
