My name is James and I want to volunteer for NC chapter leader.
A brief description: Home is just outside Garner, NC. Very close to the Wake/Johnston County lines. I work as a designer for a utility engineering firm in Raleigh. I have a wife and two children that keep me very busy with dance, soccer, piano, and Y-Guides. We love to go camping and being outdoors. I love to kayak. Mostly whitewater but enjoy canoe camping and being on/in the water in general. I play softball, ride bicycles both on and off-road, motorcycles both on and off-road. I love my big ford truck. Taking it offroad, hauling folks and tinkering with it. Hunting, fishing, guns, and archery. Been a member of this forum since 2007. Born and bred in North Carolina. I'd like to see the NC Chapter become a place that folks feel welcome to come in and share stories and tips. And have positive, open dialog where we can voice our opinions and not be shunned. Disagreements will happen. It's how we deal with those opposing opinions that makes the difference. It won't hurt my feelings if I'm not elected chapter leader. I'll still be a contributing member and will enjoy the forum as I have in the past. Thanks for your consideration. James |
Congrats James on stepping up to lead the great NC chapter.
