Biggest tire on a 2002 Excursion?
Hi, I have a 02 Excursion and want to know whats the biggest tire I could fit on the Excursion with no modifications? Thanks.

I believe 33" is the "safe" number since each brand is slightly different.

Thanks, I want to get the BFG KM2. Would that work in 33 inch?

Don't see why not.

I have an 01 4*4 ex and I have 305/70/16 Goodyear duratracs. If I have the wheel cranked all the way there is evidence of the tire just touching the inner fender.

These things are rock solid. I tow around 9k with my enclosed traile and I dont have a problem. They are load range E tire but max air pressure is only 65 psi. I have been on two long trips over 600miles each and they have been really good.

Bpayton sorry to get off topic but do you have a picture that shows how far out the tires com in relation to the fenders with your wheels? I am considering 16x8s with 315s and yours would be a good indicator of what I would be dealing with.

I dont right now but I can measure it and take a piture tonight for you.

Is that a fully stock excursion and do the 315's hit anything when turning hard or have a lot of suspension articulation?

In those photos, I have a stock rear set up and the front is lifted 2'' with the level kit - see below. The front tires rub the rear of the front leaves, but not annoyingly so IMO.
