Wiring Diagrams
 

Good Afternoon. I have a Oct 1989, F250, ex ambo with a 5.0L Windsor, C6 with a 2 battery setup. I will remove the second battery and wiring, but before i touch anything i would like a wiring diagram to suit the vehicle. I have a Chilton manual No. 26664, but the wiring colours are different to the vehicle as is the Haynes manual no. 880. I need help to locate and purchase the correct wiring diagrams and or manual. For example the alternator to battery is black with yellow stripe and the wire from ignition switch to starter solenoid is red with white stripe. Both manuals that i have use different colour wires to what is on the truck. This is my first F truck, i am enjoying the challange of doing something different. Thanks for any help given.

Given that they didn't come out of the box with the 2nd battery kit, the wires possibly aren't factory. You might have to take your diagrams and modify them to match your truck...

Thanks i have given a auto electrican a headache, he said give him some time and he will get it back to factory, he is using it as spare time job.

hahaha sounds like it's a good idea if even the auto leccy is pulling his hair out!!
