Mid-atlantic earthquake... Who felt it?
I'm in Baltimore right now... I have friends from Boston to Atlanta to Cleveland that felt it... Supposidly 5.9 centered in Charlottesville VA, I know that's not big for you left coasters.

5.9 is a good shaker for anywhere. I'll bet any un-reinforced brick buildings near the epicenter are going to be severely damaged.
Just East of Charlottesville http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquak...39.-79.-77.php |
Mine was shinking pretty good here, Block and steel building. We have a few cracked bricks/mortar

B11 here shook pretty good, everything sort of rattled. They made us go outside for about 30 min. I haven't heard if there were any issues with the cranes, in particular the 910 metric ton over DD12. Information here is 5.9 centered in Mineral VA, about 1/2 mile down.
|
It was a fairly nice shake here in Jersey too!
|
A little rattling here in eastern PA. Not a big deal.

I was in a corporate meeting just outside Philly airport and they evacuated us from the hotel. Courtney was at home here in lower DE and said it nearly shook the pics off the walls.
