Tranny/PTO questions
I have a 60 F250 4x4 with a 4-speed which has a PTO on it. It just started leaking out of the PTO shaft seal. I have no plans on ever using the PTO; does anyone know if a block-off plate is available fot it? I'm also having difficulty getting it unbolted from the tranny-there's two bolts right next to the crossmember that are a b*#ch to get to; anybody have any useful tricks? It's looking like I might have to pull the trans completely to get to all the bolts. Can anyone point me to a good thread on removing th etransmission?
