Coolant Meeting CAT EC-1
 

I was wonding who manufactures alternative coolant recommended in the tech folder coolant flush section. (coolant meeting CAT EC-1) Where can I buy it? Is this something that is available at most Auto Parts stores i.e. O'reily.

not really i had to order mine from cat but i think someone said NAPA carries a brand of it i cant remember what its called though

heres what I got from oreilys best of all it was silicate free

Dello ELC
CAT ELC
Zerex ELC

I'm sure these all meet CAT EC-1. I picked up some Rotella ELC at a truck stop. You could try that or try going to a CAT dealer directly.

Preston also makes a ELC that meets CAT EC-1. As well as the stuff internation uses (can't remember the name of it right now).

fleetrite or fleetgaurd or somethind like that I remember it was also silicate free
