2002 F250 2wd leveling kit?

I recently purchased a 2002 F250 Regular cab long bed 2wd. I'm tired of the front end sagging so low, so I've been looking into a leveling kit. I was wondering whether I should go with 2" or 1.5" for the kit. I tow about 2000 lbs. 3-4 days a week and do not want the truck to look like it is squatting too badly. However, I really would like it too look more level. I was also wondering if anyone had any ball park figures on the cost of an installation on one, because I do not feel comfortable doing to my new truck myself. Any and all input is welcome, thank you for your help in advance.

Well, as an example here is my truck with a 2" leveling kit, and as you can see from the pic it's barely "nose up" with just over 2k in the bed.
I paid about $60 for the kit, and around $200 for the alignment with dual axis camber bushings. I did the install with a fellow FTE brother.
Tack on a couple hrs labor for the install plus the $260.
While the front end is apart, you might as well do the ball joints if they are showing wear.

Hi, not to hijack or anything, but I take it you were able to get a good alignment on your truck?

I'd like to do this to my '99 F250 2wd but am worried about getting a good alignment afterwards.

I did this to my 04.It aligned perfect once the new cam bushing were installed but had terrible road maners,lots of bump steer. So much so I was afaird to tow with it..It took it to three different shops and all said that the ball joints needed time to adjust to the new angle ( what ever that means)
I now have put probably 1000 miles on it and it is so much better almost completly gone. A few more miles and I think it will be un noticeable.

I did post my issues on this forum when I was going thru it and nobody else had, had these issues. Maybe it's just my luck...

Also I put 2" longer shocks in the front. Which no one has a listing for. I had to call skyjacker to get a part#.

Attempt one to regain frontend height

Had the same sagging coil problem on my 01. After 12 years on the road carting that big heavy 7.3.
Did the swap with some heavy duty coils today. The new springs were 16" tall compared with the old ones which were 14" tall.
After the install it only raised the front just over an inch, a bit disappointing but to be expected. Shocks were Koni 4500 adjustables with plenty of length left, the front wouldn't be back to original spec' yet. Steering is ok but a front end alignment tomorrow to save the new front tyres. :) So the next move will be add the 2" insert under the coils to gain the height

One thing I noticed when changing the front coil springs which disappointed me, this truck was assembled Right hand drive (RHD) in the American factory, was the coils were not installed for RHD :-arrgh The longer coil was inplace on the wrongside, as if it were going to be lefthand drive! So no wonder this wore the front tyres (this is the correct spelling) badly, trying to drive it uphill. Not good work from the factory boys,:-X19 as this was one of a hundred vehicles on a specific order as an emergency services vehicle built RHD.
I hope quality control has improved in the factory these days!;)
