A14889 = 1986 Numerical Sequence of Assembly, the trucks specific serial number.

It's what you said it is: 1986 C700 with hydraulic brakes and a 9M front axle. Are you LDS?

See application chart below. The 1980/89 Heavy Truck Parts Catalog (10/93 edition) is probably wrong, so you need to find another source with better info.

Call Larry H. Miller Ford (SLC) for assistance, or Green Sales Co. (Cincinnati OH - 800-543-4959), or Job Lot Auto (joblotauto.com - Queens NY), who specializes in BIG Ford truck parts.

Yes I am LDS
I think I will get the old pins out and measure them so I can find the right ones

1980/89 Ford Heavy Truck (600/900) Parts Catalog available on a C/D from hipoparts.com

Paraphrased "spiel" I pass along to fellow Mormons: From the power of the Holy Ghost and the Ford Truck parts catalog, ye may know the truth of all things.

But ye will not know the truth of all things when it comes to king pins!

D1HZ-3111-A .. King Pin Kit for 1980/83 C/CT600/900 with 9M front axle and juice brakes uses (2) TUBV-3115-A pins that are 8.50" long & 1.43" O.D.

Bill

Here's one I cannot find

Do you have a parts number for a power steering box for a 1969 ford f600? I want to see if I can convert my manual steering to power steering in that truck

It is smaller than my 73-79 F 600s and the later P.S ones wont fit... nor can one be easily adapted. I know power steering was made.. but dont know who made the box?

What say you parts genie... ?

2 Attachment(s)
C7TZ-3504-S .. P/S Gear Box (Ross)-Use with 5M; 5.5M; 6M; 7M capacity front axles / ID number on tag (it's usually missing by now): C7TA-V / Obsolete

Applications: 1967/69 F500/750.

ID: C7TZ-3504-V / Part number: C7TZ-3504-S = Parts catalog lists Ross HF-54 for P/S gearbox, but also lists it for M/S gearbox. :-X15

HF-54 is also listed for other ID/part numbers. Don't pay any attention to the apps below the right pic.

Brake schematics

Looking for schematic of 68 F600 front brakes 14" x 2.5" Replacing the shoes, WheelCyl, and hardware and found there are no self adjusters installed. Should there be? Found a self adjuster kit for a 1980 that has the same part numbers for shoes and WheelCyl. Appreciate all the help I can get.
