Good Ring and Pinion guy in Southern MD
I am new to the area and have searched for days to find a shop that does ring and pinion work. The only place I have found is the Ford stealership and they want $700.00 in labor and my truck for two days.
Does anyone have other suggestions? I am out of California MD but willing to drive for quaility work!!!! Thanks BSD |
I am sorry for breaking protocol. I just relized that I was not a member of the maryland chapter prior to posting for help. I just requested membership and do appologize and hope to still get an answer if someone is willing to help me out.
Thanks BSD |
I use germans in croften md. I'll try to get you a number. I'm sure the reason no one answered, wasn't about the membership, it was because a couple of the guys are out of town.
Welcome to maryland, and I hope your stay is pleasent |
Oh man, I am active duty military stationed at PAX River. If my wife has her way we will stay here after I retire! I am a Texas boy and not a real fan of the snow but the hunting, fishing and general outdoors stuff to do has almost got me hooked.
Thanks and any help you can give me I would be great!!!!! |
no problem. stop by our b/s thread, and have a chat with us. Stick your name in your sig somewhere, so we can call you the same as your momma does.hahahahaha.... glad you like the state so far, we have a lot to do, from the mountains to the ocean, and inbetween. If you can stand the traffic, you'll enjoy it here

Ummmm.... we will let that dog lie... :-hair I have 285 tires with 4.30 rear and I would like to get back to my 4.30 or maybe a little better. I would by the gears and small parts kit (crush seals, lower bearings etc...) I would do the job myself I just do not have the press and some other tools needed to set the preload. Thanks:-drink Brent |

Thanks I will check it out |
Go see Ritchie Halsey, works at Transportation on PAX, Bldg 534. He can do the work for you. Real local too..
|
If you haven't had the work done already, Four T's Garage in California, MD is really good. He did the gears in my Mustang earlier this year, and he's close to PAX.
