On the Road!

Here are some pics of the truck in the driveway before we took it to a Stockers show and cruise this past weekend. It's in white sealer, but the yellow grille is the color it will be, screaming yellow. Same color as arrowhead fred's truck. The tail gates not installed yet, had a guy ask if it was attached when I left the house. The seat is hard as a board, because it IS a board on the stock bench with a blanket thrown on top. It has about 150 miles on it, still breaking in, but I've been naughty a couple of times. Needs alittle carb tuning and I need to chase down some rattles, but it's great. Still lots of work to do, but at least we can start having fun. We'll go to a cruise in at the local ice cream shop friday night, just because. We had a cruise through the Garden of the Gods park and over to Manitou Springs with several dozen other cars and got quite a few stares and thumbs up.
I bought this truck 6 years ago and finally got to drive it. I can't tell you guys how much help you've been. So many decisions I made during the build were from posts of some one before me. The truck would have been much more expensive to build if it hadn't been for this board. THANKS!.

[quote=frankishelby;10492288]wow, very nice, I like the height, what did you done about the suspentions.

Frank, the rear is a TCI leaf spring kit which lowers four inches. The front is a Jag XJ6 IFS with the coil spring spacers removed, it's about 3-4 inches also. I do like the way it sits.
