Washantonian In Need...

Anybody in the western Washington area have a rust free bed for a 73-79 short box? I am in desperate need of one before the body shop paints my truck this month.

Please send any leads you may have... Thanks!

Joe.

Joe

did you get out to check the truck out?

sportfuryjoe 07-14-2011 01:19 PM

Nope

No I didn't get out there... I appreciated the lead though!

We picked up... actually it was my wife who made the trip and hauled this back home for me on Monday, she is truely the best! http://www.oldfordcrewcabs.com/phpBB...on_e_smile.gif. It's the parts donor for my '76 CC. A '79 F150 Custom, shortbed 2wd. It has 73k original miles, 300ci with the auto, A/C, PS, PDB. NO RUST anywhere, it was originally black but was painted red at one point. This is such a clean little truck that's been sitting 5 years, its currently not running but shouldn't take much to get it going. Kinda shame to pull it apart, but I have to remind myself that's what I bought it for... the nice original Ford parts. Take a look... the box, front fenders, a super nice black dash pad (no cracks!), and a few other parts are going on the CC.
