Newbie

Hey everyone my name is Justin and i live in south hill/Puyallup. I am the proud new owner of a 1976 Ford F250 Hi Boy. I have wanted one since i was kid and finally broke down and bought one. I have worked on and loved cars since i was little. I havent owned a ford before so i am here to learn more about my truck and meet some people that share the love of cars that I do. Thanks for having me!

every friday night, a bunch of car guys meet up at the Krispy Kreme and show off there rides and shoot the ****,

then some of them go out for some semi-organized street racing.

Snowbunny 06-16-2011 11:59 PM

Semi organized??

Does that mean that lookouts are stationed on each corner with radios to warn that the cops are on their way??? }>

Oh, and Welcome!!

Last I heard, no radios.
But some decent money does change hands.
As well as some serious pride stomping

Yes, Pacific Raceways usually has a test and tune Fri and Wed nights. Been two years since I've run my truck down that track.

:-hijacked

Pacific Raceways near Covington
and Bremerton Raceways, outside Bremerton (about an hour away)

this is what happens when you don't post pics of your truck in a welcome thread :-wink

PR is about 2 miles from GRCC. What is weird, is that part of town is Kent. Which should be Auburn. Sometimes at night, we could hear some of the cars race from my old house.

Oh no thats not me. But its funny you said that cause i was cruising by krispy creme last night and saw a group of mustangs sitting out there. I do own a 2007 dodge charger but i do not street race. And thanks for all the welcomes. I did post a pic in my albums section. In the picture the truck has a canopy. i have since gotten rid of it. I will post more pics when i get a chance.

Did you sell the topper? Or just take it off?
I'm kinda looking for a cheap 8 fot copper.

PACNWHiboy 06-24-2011 10:10 AM

Well in that case your going to hate me. I just gave it to some guy that lives in my neighborhood and is restoring a 78 ford. Sorry man.

KrautBurner 06-24-2011 02:52 PM

no hate here,

just thought it was worth a try.

always better to give stuff away than to throw it away
