Are you washing the engine bay or playing it the water/ off roading?
What kind of COPs do you use for replacements?

Nothing will last as long as Motorcraft COPs!
How often are they going out and all of them or just certain ones?

PikeFire216 05-31-2011 10:26 AM

Just certain ones. They go out about every 6 months

phil6608 05-31-2011 10:35 AM

Are you gonna tell us what ones ,or are we supposed to guise? lol :)

Mostly the rear two. Number 2,7,3 alot also. Not a big deal to change but sometimes the CEL wont even come on

There is a lot of people that have a problem with water leaks.
Sometimes the sealer under I think the wiper cowl leaks.
Also the heater hoses where they connect to your firewall are a well known problem.

Yeah i had fixed the heater hose problem, when they go out they are never wet thats why i cant figure out the problem.

How are you determining the coils you are replacing are bad?

PikeFire216 05-31-2011 12:55 PM

CEL. It takes weeks to register though sometimes. I dont know any other way to pin point the one thats out.
