Wheel well liners

Just in case anyone is interested. I read on another board that a company called Rugged Liner is planning to release wheel well liners for 09-11 F150's in the July timeframe. I contacted Rugged Liner and the confirmed. I don't know anything about the company or the quality of their products, but it looks like they've made liners for Dodge and Chevy for a while.

Good info. Thanks for posting.

I had to read that twice! I keep reading Ruger (as in the gun manufacturer) will come out with liners. Geeeze! That's what happens when you cruise truck forums just after you cruised gun forums.

I'm looking forward to the wheel well liners. :)

When I get mine, I'm considering have the rear wheel wells line-x'd. Any known hazards to the truck like potential rust for instance?

Rugged Liner

I just called Rugged Liner and they said that it is a few more weeks yet.

Now that I have mine, i really like the open wheel wells. Yes, you can hear rocks flying but it's so much easier to clean and less chance for rust to form and for corrosives to build up.

Thanks for posting that. I'll call the dealer near me. I've always wanted those.

I guess this wheel well liner is mainly for cosmetics? I would be a little concerned about debris getting behind it over time.

Cosmetic? Seriously? It will minimize rocks and crap from flying off the tires and hitting suspension, electrics, brake lines and bed parts and everything else under the bed. And if debris gets behind it, it should just harmlessly fall to the ground. The liner is a half shell, not some elaborate accordion.

Just ordered a pair here in NW Indiana, $120. I got pricing between $120 and $192. The distributor is out of Jasper Indiana (Meyer Automotive) which all the dealers in this area are using. The guy that quoted me $192 double checked with the distributor and was told the various dealer incentives and specials had not yet been enabled in their computer. This is due to the Ford liners being so new. After they figured everything out, the price came down to $120. He expects to have them ready for me to pick up by Friday morning.
The retailer is One Stop Reconditioning in South Bend, In.
