m5od shifter on a zf5, can i do it.
 

my buddy has a hurst shifter for on a half-ton ford m5od, i was wondering if it will fit on my zf5 in my f-250.. i wasnt sure if they shard the same shifters or not, but if they do i wanna grab it for my truck.. thanks

ya i lookied in my books a minute after posting, they look differant.. dam, geuss im up **** creek on getting a good shifter for a zf, does anyone know if i can atleast get a new factory one or a rebuild kit.. thanks

What's wrong with the one you have now, is it just really sloppy and worn? There are a couple of nylon bushings in the shift tower, maybe they are worn. I would think you can still get those from Ford.
