Bush Hogging Rates?
 
Got 40 acres to bushhog for a guy, not sure what the going rate is down here in middle Tenn.

A case of beer is sufficient payment around here.
Do you mean you actually charge your friends and fellow neighbors money to do things like that up in Michigan? Around here we are neighborly folks.

Most charge between 65-90 dollars an hr that was last year before diesel and everything went up

It doesn't happen that way down here. Either it's a portion of the hay that is being produced or it's cold hard cash. Not even the multi-generation natives around here are that neighborly.

yeah, diesel fuel is 4 dollars a gallon. Bush hogging more than just a yard for free is out of the question.

The guy decided he was gonna let the people living there take care of it, never even got to give him a price, he just said dont worry about it.
