LMC Seat Rebuild Kit

I don't know about you all but I appreciate a certain level of comfort when behind the wheel. Like most older trucks, the bench seat on my F350 has fat-ass syndrome on the drivers side. LMC truck sells a bench seat rebuild kit for $30.00 which works real well with my wallet. I realize it is not a true molded foam replacement however I was wondering if anyone here has ever tried the LMC kit and what you thought of it.

Subscribing: I'm curious also. Though I have some initial reservations, they're based on no real-world experience at all, so I'd like to know as well.

i have never used that kit personally. however, you can get a pair of sheet foam, for roughly 35 bucks off ebay . if your capable of cutting and moulding the foam, its a good way as well

Yeah, I have my reservations as well. There are lots of places to buy foam, but since I'm placing an LMC order I thought I might include this kit. I guess if no one with first hand experience responds I'll go ahead and buy it and then do a write up. If I'm not satisfied it will be one of the less expensive mistakes I've made.

I've been eying that kit now for a while. My bench seat has some issues as well.

I'm curious how it turns out. I saw, I think, 4WD magazine use the LMC kit on an 80s Chevy a while back. They seemed to like it. But I could be miss-remembering. :)
