Seems Ford thought my truck didn't need a paintcode...

Seems that I can't just HAVE my paint code for my truck....It simply has MX where the Paint code is supposed to be...ANd from what I can find on google, MX simply means Manufacturer....

But from what I can find, it kinda looks like Sheridan Blue....

Any info on this lil problem?

Daaannng that was quick....Thanks man....Its a metal flake too btw....I have googled my guts out...Hmmm...Me thinkey that alotta google stuff is just crap....

I kinda want it darkened a bit in the repaint....So the maroon interior will look a smidge better...But then again, I love the color its self...

I take it, that my particular color of truck was a fairly uncommon color? By it being a 2 year run?

More that it was typical Ford in that they couldn't stick with the same paint id code

you can also call a local Ford dealership, talk to the parts dept., give them the last 8 digits of your v.i.n. [vehicle identification number], they should be able to give you the correct code for your truck [if you want to double check].
