200 cid and a T-5
OK..........The 4 speed (srod) idea is OUT ! ! !
NOW........I am moving on to a T-5. I do need a bit of help with some parts, tho. Ths adapter wont be an issue (I am lucky enuff to have an AWESOME machinist as a friend). AND I ,myself, am an acomplished welder/fabricator....SO.... Now for the questions. I remember reading about someone combining a 200 and a T-5 on here before, but dont remember the post title. I need to get a clutch plate to marry these two misfits....The stock plate is a 10 tooth(stock for the 2.77 tranny)...and the input shaft on the T-5 is 14 tooth... PS...the stock flywheel is 8.5 in and is in great shape...Heck the clutch and PP is brand new... If there is such an animal as a 8.5 with 14 teeth, thqat would be ideal. Any help would be much appreciated. |
i think this is going to be one of those deals where you are going to have to find a GOOD parts counter man, or a speed shop that is willing to look through the books to find a 8.5 inch 14 spline clutch disc

i am quite sure you can find a 8.5 inch 14 spline clutch for a hell of a lot less money than $260 though.
