No such luck on the sleeping in for me... you would think I would get to work early since the kids are off school and I didn't have to drop them off, but I ended up being 10 minutes later than usual. Oh well, it's Friday, and I think my slacker mode is in overdrive!

We have a pretty strong wind over here too... I thought maybe I could ride the cycle to work today since the weenies predicted less than 40% chance of rain. But, it started pouring just before I left home.

I'm about to lose my temper with Walmart Tire Express... Not sure why they have "express" in their name. I was the only person here, they took the wheels off the car and then went on their mid morning break. Now there are five people in the shop, but it appears only one guy knows what to do. :-banghead |
There have been two tire repairs and an oil change come through... They stopped on my car to do those. So, an hour later it doesn't appear I'm any closer to being done!

This is the wife's deal, she asked my opinion and I said go with a local shop and pay an extra $100 for somebody experienced. She handed me the receipt the other day for Walmart... But, I did get out of running the kids to ballet class and violin lessons, lol! |
I usually call around to several places, wally world included, then call Jensen tire. They've always beaten the lowest price I find. Won't have them do much else than tires, though.

I think I figured out why it takes so long... They go out back to harvest the rubber from their rubber trees, then they manufacture the tires in the back room....

Or, they're pulling tires off of cars that they find out in the lot....It's taking so long, to find the right size....LOL

Miracles never cease, they just backed car out of the service bay! I suppose they'll take it on a two hour road trip now...
