Nope, I don't envy you guys... I like that the 79 only has one small tank, but if I drive it a lot, I have to stop every 2 days to fill it, lol.

What do you get for mileage out of that Rob? That has a 400 in it, right?

Yeah, it's the 400. I don't check the mileage very often, it's too painful... lol

I think it's around 10 or so. I got 12mpg with it driving across NE to Cruise Night, that was on the two lanes doing 65mph tops. That was right after a tune up too, so I know it's not that good now.

Wonder what that has for rear gears.

Not sure Pat... I think it is a stock rear setup. I think the vin tag would probably tell me if I knew how to read it. ;)

If you can get the VIN number, we can find out. You'd probably want a 3.5 or lower in it, since you don't tow anything with it. That would help the mileage.

I have a 44 gallon tank, and I fill up every month or so....

:eek: Well at least you only have to fill up once a month...

or 6 weeks or so....

36 gallons, I fill up every week...

can't quite make it a month on mine...

Rainy and cold here this morning... the weenies have backed off on their snow predictions, now they say it's just going to be rain. D'oh!

They've backed off on our rain predictions now. I was going to hold off getting the boat, but I think I'll go ahead and get it tomorrow.

No, the city won't allow it, and it takes up too much room. I keep it at the MIL's farm.
