Tailgate
 

I dented my tailgate backing into a tree while mudding a few weeks ago. So I am looking for a tailgate for my truck....Preferably very cheap. Theres one on craigslist for $25, but its off an 86. Will it fit? I actually really like the look of it, I just do not want to go get it if it won't fit.

Lrc magazine. I think they are $100?

I have the JC Whitney tailgate and it looks good but is flimsy.

Im just looking at this cause its cheap, local, and no shipping. I dont have the money to order anything. I just would like to know f it would fit on my truck its an 89 and the tailgates off an 86

You need a tailgate from a 87-97

it will fit i have a '82 tailgate on my '89 bed it latches perfect its just diff. lookin...

the gate is different. the latches are different. but it will fit. get the hardware off the bed your getting the gate from

The LMC 100$ tailgates are the super cheap thin gauge cheap garbage ones!

how do u post pics on here now im not sure what year my tail gate is it looks like the 80-86 1 i was told its an 82 and its on my 89

You have to have a photobucket or similar account. then copy and paste the img code

check my albums out tomorrow ill just put some in there

so it will only fir if i can get the mounts? damn ok well thank you all for your help. guess ill have to just wait a lil longer.
