2001 F-150 vibration

I have a problem with what feels like vibration to me and the people who ride in my truck. The question is i have no vibration at all from a stand still and acceleration but when I turn the vibration is there and only getting worse. It feels like it is coming from the rear of the truck but i could be wrong. So if you had this problem or know whats wrong i would appreciate any and all help. Thanks in advance
Richard

If You have a Posi Rear & it does it on a turn from a start it sounds like the clutch pack grabbing in the rear. May just need gear oil changed & posi additive or could be clutch is bad. Just had mine done.

not sure what clutch pack you mean is it the one in the trans or is there one in the rear end?

If It's A studder in the rear when You make a hard turn,& it's a posi, it's the clutches in the rear. The posi additive availabe at autobone or pepboys may help. Like 6 bucks. Check the Vin sticker on the door jam for the code to see what rear you have.

FORDis not positrack... FORD is called limited slip or LS.. yes you have that. What you need to do is go to Auto Zone and get a 7 oz tube of friction modifier for gear lube. Crawl under the truck and take the 3/8 inch pipe plug out of the axle pumpkin just above the drive sahft center line on the drivers side. Put a hooked wire into the hole and see if the level is down 1/2 inch. IF so, just squirt in the addative. If not, suck oout 7 oz of oil with a tube and add the addative. Drive for 50 miles and you should be o.k. after that.

ok i will try that and i'll let you know if it helps
