2004 SuperCab Rear door panel removal....
 

Has anyone seen instructions or can tell me the trick to remove the rear (L) door panel on the 2004 Super Cab door. Only one visable screw on the very bottom of the panel. I have a new window (glass) I want to install. Any info appriciated. Renzo in Kau, Hawaii

Just did this last week. Well there are several more screws that are hidden. First carefully pry off the top 2 pieces on either side of the glass. Remove the 2 screws there. Next, pry up on the window switch panel and unplug the power window switch. There is a screw under that. Remove the cover panel on the door latch. Remove the 2 screws that hold the handle on. Now you should be able to lift the panel straight UP do not try and pull out you'll break off the tabs. Reinstalling the door handle is the toughest part. You sorta have to get it in the right place. Took me a couple trys but I got it.

Door Panel Removal & window replacement!!!
 

Pulled the Panel and replaced the window!!! No fun for a non glass shop Guy but I "Got er done" You have to pull all the mouldings, inside and outside, then install the window from the top, inside. I looked everywhere I could think of for some expert advice but didn't find anything. Lots of DIY instructions on the door panel and replacing the electric window motor and drive, but NOTHING on window replacement! Renzo in Kau, Hi.
