Need VIN decoded
 

Looking at a truck. All that is listed is crewcab, diesel 4x4 and vin. I need to know what trans is in it.

I may be wrong, but I don't think trans info is in a VIN...

You need the trans code from the door sticker as already stated. `97 was the last year for the E4OD, so if auto, it is probably that.
