yet another smog thread

well its that time. gotta get my truck smogged by the end of the month. im in the fontana/riverside area and just wondering if theres any places that seem to be diesel friendly. i do have some mods, and the one that i might have to revert is my ccv. but thats not too hard. i would like to not have to do anything if possible.

thanks for the heads up.

If you were in the long beach area I'd give you the number to a spot. They just passed my truck today. I keep getting a SES light and they passed me. $60

Live in Cucamonga and just failed my test in Jan. Just installed a rebuilt engine in my 87 F-350. I passed the smog part with flying colors but the timing failed. Who would have thought they checked that? I did have problems with the timing and had a hard time figuring out the problem. It ended up that either the Harmonic Balancer was the wrong one or it slipped. Just got it replaced did the job myself and all is well. As far as a good smog shop goes have no idea, the one I used were pricks and loved the idea I failed. Looking for a decent one now.

Something a little closer...

Advance Auto Smog Check Center
775 W. Foothill Blvd. (N/E corner of Foothill & San Antonio Ave)
Upland

They did mine, with my DP Tuner hooked up (on stock), my CAI and 4" Turbo-back.

Not a problem..
