2000 f250 electrical problems

well I've just recently got this truck and there are a few things i cant figure out
1.) well the turn signals or flashers dont work but if you turn the flashers on and step on the brakes the turn signals light up and stay on solid ......?
2.)the wipers dont work either but the high beams and the washer fluid sprays when you push in on the end so i dont know if the control isnt working

i have searched and couldnt find anything any help in these matters would be appreciated

Check to see if the bulbs are burned out.

Then check the fuse for the circuits.

I think there are two pathways to the flasher.

One for the turn signal, and one for the flasher.

Did you check both sets of fuses?

yea i checked the whole box inside and the one under the hood

Toss in a brand new flasher.

Sometimes, fuses can test good and be bad.

I always just toss in a new one.

replaces both and also just noticed that my wipers dont work as well?

The multi-function switch (turn signal switch) is shared by the circuits giving you trouble.

It could be the switch or perhaps the connector plugs. Try swapping a known good switch into the truck. Borrow one from a buddy or get one from the junkyard, because new ones are expensive.

How exactly can a fuse "test good" and still be "bad"?
