Free Parts!

To my northern buddies. I'm looking to downsize and have a couple TONS of 67-72 pickup parts to give away for free! Cabs, doors, fenders complete boxes etc. Let me know if any of you guys want anything before it all goes to the crusher....
Don.

Don, just out of curiosity... what is that yellow cab behind the f250?

fabmandelux 04-02-2011 09:13 PM

That's my trip to the dark side.................A 1968 F250 CC stretched out . It only has the drivers door on the left side, and 2 doors on the right side. It's powered by a 472ci Caddy with front wheel drive. The frame is cut-off behind the cab. I plan on welding on the tandem axle trailer from my Sanger drag boat to the truck frame.............

I know it's a bit 'spensive, but there should be a 514 BB in place of the Caddy mill. :D Sounds like it'll be awesome when it's done, gonna make a car hauler?

fabmandelux 04-03-2011 10:59 AM

I would have gone Ford power, but wanted a big block front wheel drive, and Ford didn't make one.........This will be used to haul my drag boat (Ford powered!) and I'll build some bolt on ramps to haul cars with also.

Neat idea! I'm guessing the donor was an Eldorado?

FAB,

where are you located?
any chancyou have any 16" wheels (8 lug)?

I'd possibly be interested in an 8ft bed for my 77 F250
and maybe some of those verticle mirrors, and a divers door.

BTW:
that boat hauler sounds awesome,
can you get us some projekt pics? maybe a build thread?

After I get moved into my new shop I'll be starting a build thread in the Oregon Chapter!
