92 explorer egr valve?
 

I have a 1992 ford explorer with a 4.0 and It is coming up saying its the egr valve. Does anyone know where the egr valve is? It doesnt idle smoothly either and will cut off if theres no throttle.

Double check your trouble codes. '92's didn't come with an EGR system. One common mistake is to interpret the 111 pass code ('92's should be outputting 3 digit codes) for a 33 EGR code. If needed, also double check your model year. '92's didn't have EGR systems, but some '93's did.
