Good morning Nebraska! Cold and snowy enough for ya?

Got 10 - 14 inches of white gold in this area. Only problem is now the wind is picking up so it will be another fun drive to work. School is delayed, it's nice not to have to rush this morning.

Well our snow is over with for a while again.. We got a total of about 6-9", depending on where you look. I am dissapointed.. I was hoping for over a foot of snow.. Still just a late start today.. bummer..

Well we ended up getting 2 snow days in a row! The school called just as I was walking out the door to warm up my truck and told me school was called off again. Thank you, Jefferson County, for having sh|tty road crews and not getting their jobs done last night :D

Too funny Brandon... The roads were probably too bad last night for the road crews to make it to the county shop.

HAHA YOUR TOO FUNNY! I spent all day playing around on the roads that were "too bad" to drive on, and I didn't even use 4x4 til noon.. They were just super lazy, and for that, I thank them!

P.S. - a lot of the maintainer crews keep their road graders at their houses so they don't have to drive to the county shops.

With a little luck, the wind might blow enough to drift some roads shut again, giving me a 2 hour late start tomorrow :-dancing1

But they'd still have to shovel a path to the grader, and hopefully they didn't forget to plug it in... Ah, it's just easier for those guys to stay home, the roads will melt eventually! lol

Lol I am glad they didn't get them cleaned! It gave me something to do til I had to go to work (I just happened to forget to mention the day off to my boss) and I got a sweet vacation day! God Bless America!

I got a little bit of time playing in the snow on Sunday evening. However, since I'm 43, I have to at least try and look responsible while drift busting. ;)

I got to do some drift busting after work today too! I got to destroy the piles of snow that my dad and uncle spent all day yesterday and all day today making!

After I got my driveway all cleaned off, I backed the truck out of the garage and thought to myself "why in the heck didn't I just blast through the snow with the 4x4 first?".

Lol yeah kinda the same thing happened here today too. I shoveled out my mom's side of the driveway, and started my side. Then I figured screw it, and just blasted through! :-missingt

One more post till I hit 6000...

I do that every morning when we have fresh snow overnight. The end of the driveway is real fun from the snowplows dumping all of the snow from the road in the end of it.

I too am like Rob, 41 and I love drift busting :-D

I have tomorrow off too! :-missingt This is too good! I got three days in a row off, this was the vacation I desperately NEEDED! Tomorrow is a scheduled teacher-in-service day, but it still amounts to me getting monday, tuesday, and wednesday off!
