Just got back in from Florida about 4 hours ago. We went down for a week to celebrate Christmas with Family down there.

I have been waiting to see when anyone wants to give some dates and times to meet up.

Hey Kenpo Im doin ok just really busy. Maybe you could answere a question. I want to lift my ranger and do maybe a prerunner type truck or swap it to a 4wd. In your po what would be the best way to do this? I would love to do the 4wd swap but I dont want to do a strait axl swap. Any help would be great and I would love to get together again sometime time permitting. And to everyone else hope your all doing great

I've been quite busy these past couple weeks. Usually we get real slow the week before and after Christmas, but not this year. As for a get together, I'm up for it! I would prefer a Sunday, but I could probably make do on a Saturday.

I personnaly would try to find a donor truck and swap out the front end etc. Having the donor would give you the parts you need and a good reference to work from for the drilling etc that would need to be done. I don't think any of those small trucks had factory straight axles under them.

As for the gtg thing, a sat or sun would work fine for me. I recently talked with catfish101 about a gtg and he said he may be interested. If he is up for it we may want to make it a bit further south as he lives south of me yet.

Thanks kenpo thats kinda what I was planing on was a doner truck. If I go 4wd there is no real drilling so to speak. From what I have read the 2wd and 4wd frames are exactly the same with the exeption of the trans xmember. That seems to be the worst part because it is not only rivited in place but welded also. I may just do the the 2wd lift for now aand look for a donor truck in the future a big plus to this is the 2wd and 4wd use the same lift kit. Thanks for the info kenpo and I am looking forwart to seeing that beast of yours again that thing is just too cool.

You may want to check up on the no drilling thing. I don't think they had the holes in the front cross member for the ttb axle pivot pionts. As far as the trans part I recently junked out an 86 bII (the one that the gas tank blew up on and torched me lol). I pulled the t-case for a buddy before hand and the member was bolted in on it.

Good Morning all, have a great hump day! :D
