Super-Duty Turbo Wastegate problems
 

I have a Super Duty, intercooled set up in my truck and the wastegate seems to be out of adjustment. When its attached it will push 13-14psi during mild driving and about 18psi full throttle. When I block off the wastegate it will push a max 26-27psi but is very fluctuating. I feel like when its on its not enough boost and when its off its not a very controllable amount of boost. Can someone help me out here? Thanks

Unhook the wastegate rod and turn the end. It's a threaded rod so turn the end to adjust it. You can stick a mighty vac on the wastegate and pump it to see when the wastegate starts to open up and adjust it to your liking.

Just make sure the rod going into the waste gate diaphram does not turn.
Hold it with pliers and turn the clevis end only.

Shorter is more boost.
