What an awesome place to have. And an awesome collection as well.
Only bad thing with the pic is the tow rig is not Ford. Otherwise it would
be a great pic for a calendar or to hang on the shop wall. We do puzzles
in the winter.
I understand there are places ya can send yer pic and for a fee they will make
it into a puzzle. Photo shop in like a "50 F3 for a tow rig and I would buy one
for sure.

Really nice tow truck! Some would think they'd have died and went to FTE heaven:-X22

...I've had the Ol Towmater about 20 years now. A fellow was retiring out of the service station business, the old type, 3 bay shop where they actually fixed cars, gas pumps, neat old parts cars out back ... :) and the new owners didn't want to be bothered with a tow truck... :( ... so, the fellow retiring advertised it, and I spied the ad...... and we struck a deal... :) ....
here's a picture of the day I got it home. Basically unchanged except for mirrors...and the paints getting little faded. Its in a good home now...

...And that old gas station... nothing more than a gas bar and convenience store now ... like all of them are. :(

So when is the FTE get-together at your place Stan?
Maybe with a swap meet and or yard sale?

bjmayberry2 12-07-2013 05:15 PM
