Sweet pics on Route 66! I remember the XT6, that always intrigued me as a kid just getting a driving license and watching all the cars around me. Nice to see someone still driving and taking care of the "classics" :D

We really enjoy our XT, it's our first Subaru. I think we'll always have a Subie in the family:-wink

Thanks, Man! The only downside to owning a "classic" is it's becoming harder and harder to find parts for it. Sadly, because of the difficulty finding parts, it has gone from Daily Driver to Weekend Cruiser status. :( But that's what the Wagon and my F350 are for.:D

And now, back to your regularly scheduled program.

Well here it is working again, at least the winch is being used to pull the remains of a tree I cut down back up the hill so I can cut it smaller and load it in the trailer for disposal.
Man I love this truck, it does everything I need.

I hear ya, what endears my truck so much to me is how capable it is. You've got some beautiful scenery out there!

Here I am getting ready for another camping trip:

boomsling...where are you camping at? It looks awesome!

boomsling 08-11-2012 07:41 PM

@super08--Thanks!

We're at Sowell Creek section of the Army Corps of Engineers campground at Proctor Lake in Comanche, Tx. There are three Corps campgrounds around the lake. We like Sowell Creek the best. Proctor lake is full of water right now. One of the few here in west Texas that has water.

Camping in the Cascades. Truck is resting.

Had help on the pre-trip check.

Always take along a shop vac!
