Good afternoon everyone! Calling for scattered frost down here in the SE corner of SD tonight.

Way too early for that kind of weather!!!

Holy smokes the first of October. Dang. 2008 is almost gone.

What'ya mean too early? Could have snow on the ground by the end of the month, been known to happen... I got indoctrinated to SD weather in 96-7 with 3 day blizzards, snow and ice before Halloween, didn't quit until April... real Little House on the Prarie type stuff...

I recall that winter quite well. Was a senior in highschool.

I got home last night about 11 PM.

I no longer own a Chevrolet. Life is good. I obtained a 98 Oldsmobile Aurora. Leather seats comfortable to boot.

Dad has a 04 F350 and a 97 F250
Mom has an 07 Town Car... I kinda want to go heads up race against that. My bet would be on the towncar. :D

And even though its a GM its my third. I had an 80 Cutlass that I drove in highschool. That was a great car. Now have an 01 Alero (wife drives that) and I have the Aurora.

But I have a 92 F250 and 79 F150 so there is plenty of Ford here.

I had a '72 Cutlass...Rocket 350...Candy Apple Red...White leather interior...White landau top...Crager Super Sports...70 series on the front...60 series on the back...OWL BF Goodriches. Damn...that brings back memories!!! :)

Thanks all. Its going to be a work pickup. I will snap some more pictures. The main project is going to be a flatbed for it. The box is is in sad shape.

I intend to fix teh rust spots. For a 17 year old pickup it looks really sharp. But I have always loved the body style.

Hey Ryan, nice looking truck. I've always liked that year/body style... it's got enough of the older style influence. Nice Olds too! Does that have the small v8 or is it the 3800 (or some other) six cylinder?

The Olds has the V8. Its a running car too. Great ride. Its an excellent machine.

We had a 99 Continental for about 3 years... it just floated down the road, and the V8 power was great. It got decent highway MPG too.

It was a really nice October day here today. The leaves are starting to turn here... Really nice day today.

Good Morning Ryan and all the South Dakota members. It was a very nice day here, and it's supposed to be that way again. Don't imagine there will be too many more like it.

The weather is supposed to be changing around here. Last night we had a freeze warning.

Talking rain and wind here in the not to distant future.
