Spring "get together"
 

:-bigparty :-bigparty I would like to offer my services for a FTE get together saturday May 17th at my home. I like to throw picnic/party/truck shows and I want to start getting to know my Ford truck brethren. I have a 30x48 pole building if the weather is bad and 2+acres if it is good. there is over 800 feet of road frontage to show off your rigs. Lots of room for kids to play. My neighbors are used to my parties. Please let me know if you are interested. I would like to see as many people and trucks as possible. I can handle close to 100 people and 40-50 rigs. All I ask is that everyone brings some kind of food dish and that anyone that drinks has a DD. Let me know what you think. Pat

I am in a little town called Hollidaysburg. It is 5 minutes south of Altoona. 30 miles north of Bedford exit of PA tpk on Interstate 99.

Well, I'm gonna HAVE to come now...heard something through the grapevine about blowing up recalled air bags at a prior shindig. Not that I hadn't planned on going before, but I've heard it's ALWAYS a good time at Other Pat's! :D

Hey i will be there, hope you don't mind if i bring my little twin girls with me.

Hey, this "Struck95" is my son-in-law and the "little twin girls" are my granddaughters. They are not born yet but they will be about a month old by party time. There is a BIG story behind these little ones and "Struck" will be happy to tell you all about it. Just be sure you get my side so I can defend myself. "Struck" owns a Ford truck and is helping to raise my 6 year old grandson to be "Fordified" too. All in all among the family we have 7 Ford trucks and 4 Ford cars.

Dont forget the BEast that u have sitting in the corner.

I know the price of fuel is up and some of you will be going to Carlisle this summer. So if you cant make it to my party because of fuel prices, its ok with me. I will be here and so wil be the beer. Hey, Lost, you didnt miss it, :-huh It is on May 17th. Just over a month away. I am working on getting ready. I want to have the "Beast" at least running for that day. I want to get as many names as possible as to who is going to be there so I can prepare.

Are you guys all preregistered for the MidAtlantic meet at the All Truck Nationals in Carlisle?

Man I'm sorry again. Like said I'm working 6 days and running 3 jobs at same time. I'm about nuts right now.

I am in Hollidaysburg just off of Rt22, Just look for The Dream restaurant and turn onto Scotch Valley road next to G&G used car lot. Go 1 mile on scotch Valley road. I am on left, you wont miss it unless you are driving blind. BIG stone house with BIG pole building with BIG blue oval on it. By the way, I stopped at John Stuckey Ford last evening to look at a Bullitt Mustang and had a conversation with a few people there including the general manager of the dealership and told the about my upcoming party. I think a dealer sponsorship is needed in every area.

Ok people, 3 more weeks til my GTG. I NEED to know how many people to expect from out there. I have about 20 of my Ford buddies form this area coming, but I would like to have a better idea of who is coming from FTE land. I guarantee there will be a good time, good food and good beer.
By the way, Larry, the 428 is back in the "BEAST" It will be running for the party.

My little granddaughter Tessa #2twin 8 weeks old is scheduled for heart surgery at Pittsburgh Childrens Hospital on friday May 16th. Due to this I must cancel the party that we planned for May 17th. I appologize for this and I promise that I will re-schedule as soon as things are "normal" again.
Anyone out there that will, I ask for prayers for her recovery.

Beast, family is first, and you and yours have our prayers that all will be well. Reading the threads, it looks like it will be a great time for the gtg, and I will look forward to meeting all. I just want to point out that July 12 is the weekend for Bloomsburg truck show.
