End of the year BS

Its December already. I have a few lights on a 1951 ford truck in the front yard, looks good.

I went to Michigan yesterday and picked up a 1955 ford F600. Very nice old truck runs and drives. Man was it heavy for my F150 to tow it back to Akron.

Firewood is all cut split and stacked, Plow is on the cub and I think we are ready for winter!

Talk it up Ohio!

You would not happen to have any 72 parts like a three on the tree column 2wd manual ?

bigwin56f100 12-02-2012 03:06 PM

A friend of mine might, I'll ask him and let you know

F2504x4 12-02-2012 03:57 PM

bmuhlbach 12-02-2012 04:00 PM

Race car is in parts(lots of them). Motor getting freshened after 5 yrs. Tranny needs 3rd gear. Rest of car will be work bench material while it sits there LOL!!

'69 is sleeping for the winter. Still never got the ladder bar suspension put under it(yet).

'64 2dr is sleeping.

Mack is sleeping.

My buddy has one $125.00

Wish you would have asked a week ago as I was in Columbus for the ford swap and could have brought it with me.

Let me know your thoughts as I could take pics and email them, I dont do texts yet.

Freightrain 12-06-2012 02:38 PM

I'm glad that was a long, long , long time ago.

caseihman94 12-07-2012 01:20 AM

I didn't end up studying until about two hours before the exam. I don't think it went too horrible. My day ended pretty nicely with a few buddies and myself making the trek to The Tilted Kilt...

Jigger2020 12-07-2012 05:28 AM

Well its Monday again, make the the best of it......:)

jitterymonkey 12-11-2012 09:37 AM

Well, my F250 is raining rust down on me again. x(
Did all the front brake lines this summer & I should've done the rears at the same time because the one along the frame rail just went.
Now I'm laying out in a wet driveway freezing & cussing.

Guess it could be worse... could be -20 & laying in a foot of snow.

Maxium4x4 12-11-2012 09:43 AM

Have to love the salt brine they use on our highways :-X22 I try and not drive my truck in the winter when the roads are white with salt.

Freightrain 12-11-2012 10:31 AM

Typical brakes. If one line is bad..........they are ALL bad and you just don't know it yet.

Jigger2020 12-12-2012 05:12 AM

Good morning everyone, have a great day OH........:)

jitterymonkey 12-22-2012 12:44 AM

Merry Christmas everyone!

Finally got to drive the F250 on some snowy streets tonight &
boy am I glad she's a 4X4.
In 2 wheel drive, that 460 combined with 4.11 gears made
sliding that back end around way to easy. }>
Definitely gotta put some weight over that rear axle.

Jigger2020 12-22-2012 09:34 AM

Good morning Ohio truckers, have a great weekend, got more snow up here.....:)

bmuhlbach 12-26-2012 01:16 PM

Merry Christmas and good cheers to all now go plow the driveway..........

caseihman94 12-26-2012 09:14 PM

How bout that blizzard guys?

I just got in the house from pulling the injectors and glow plugs in our '94 f350 7.3, well half of them. Haha once they're all out I'll get them tested.

Jigger2020 12-27-2012 06:21 AM

Good Thursday morning Ohio gang, we made it through the holidays now on to the new year !!!

Maxium4x4 12-27-2012 07:10 AM

Describe Blizzard, it ended up being annoying at the least....:D For those of us young enough to remember 78 you would understand.

caseihman94 12-27-2012 11:50 AM

Yeah, 78 was a little ways before my time .:-X04

I wouldn't call what we a got a blizzard, the media seemed to talk it up way more than it actually was.

Jigger2020 12-27-2012 11:54 AM

Yes thats what they do, media liars

bmuhlbach 12-27-2012 05:17 PM

we got 6-8 inches of snow.I do remember 78 and how the snow was over 5 ft tall drifts I remember my buddies house was all drifted snow you couldnt see it from the road and his Dad was diggeng it out with a Bobcat

Jigger2020 12-28-2012 06:36 AM

Good Friday morning FTE Ohio gang ........:)

bigwin56f100 12-30-2012 12:57 PM

Been keeping the drives plowed with the cub. Plowed paths to the animals and the fire wood pile.

I put a new set of rear tires on it and it really does a good job without the chains

Took my 16 year old daughter out in the snow and let her drive and do some doughnuts and she is doing a great job driving in her jacked up ranger https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...251905.520.390

What a great Dad!:-X22
Wish I had that truck when I was 16. (course I would have mudded it to death)

I'm sure she'll fondly remember that ride for a long, long time.

Jigger2020 12-30-2012 02:40 PM

Sweet truck Kevin, I like all Flare Sides, nice lift too

bmuhlbach 12-30-2012 02:53 PM

Jigger2020 12-30-2012 03:04 PM
