This is prolly a 1 page thread at most
2 Attachment(s)
but I did spruce up the truck this afternoon...:-X06
Installed the smoked Recon tail lights and third brake light Attachment 236482 Switched from clear to smoked clearance lens as well (mirrors have been done for a while) Attachment 236483 Let's try to contain the excitement :) I also don't want to hear about the truck being dirty. I took these at the boys football practice and I barely got them there on time! :-drink |
Dirty? I don't see any dirt...you should see mine.
Hauling ATV’s and dirt bikes to the woods tomorrow so it will only get worse. Luckily my project won’t take away from yours since yours is cooler but I did add Carhartt seat covers tonight. |

Somehow I knew this was going to be the next post...lol.
It's dark, you'll have to wait. :D |
This is how it all started for Sgt93. First smoke Recons, then a bad turbo, then you buy a Jeep.

I think the cops out here in Nor Cal would pull you over for the dark Recons.

I pull a Boy Scout trailer often enough that they know I'm alright or I coach their kids. Driving like a moron seems to give them a reason too, so I try to save that for in the country. :-drink |
:-X0A6 I like it! :-X21

The Recons are 50 state legal! |
Here's your PAGE 2!!
You thought it would never happen..... |
You truck looks awesome BTW. You're one step closer to a tuner....
|
spam king is you...
thanks for the compliment on the truck though. For a truck that actually gets driven, I think it's coming along just fine. |

Truck looks great!!

I like your stuff savage and your general attitude on life is pretty dang cool too. If my truck wasn't slave to annual dot inspections I might be inclined to play with it more. I like 2-4" lifts, custom wheels, smoked lenses, and the H&S system but as most of you know, my truck is a work truck. Keeping most things stock keeps me with a good standard towing height and running 55,000 miles/year I need to stay ultra reliable and mpg killers make a big difference.
Congrats on the 2 pager, nice work on the truck. |
At this rate you might get page 3 before the days over!
|
I've got the smoked mirror covers and cab lights too. Didn't think I'd like them as much as I do.
They look really good on your truck. |

Ok...this thread is getting EPIC. Three pages! w00t!
Best part about it was Roy saying he is going to put Recon's on his awesome truck. I think that is a great call. Pro-Tip 1 - Autoplicity and Amazon have good deals on Recons. Pro-Tip 2 - Die-electric grease the connection where the recon wiring harness plugs into the bulb fitting on your truck. Pro-Tip 3 - Masking tape is not the preferred tape for electrical connections. I found this out when I switched out the clear lens covers on mine. I wanted to make certain the cab light connections were good. When I investigated how the prior owner did them, I discovered he used masking tap to hold them together. I about died laughing :-missingt |
