Quit for the season. Too many dogs running the deer around by now. Turkey hunting in a few weeks.

Afternoon all just got home..man it was chilly today!!!

They talked about doing away with dogs but I don't know if it will happen.

Turkey hunting is nearly like hunting a man. They are pretty smart and have great vision Not the same rush but nearly as satisfying. I love hunting man, and I really miss it.

Someone forgot to take his Prozac this morning...........

Kinda ruins it for everyone else. Doing away with it wouldn't be a bad thing.

They usually run dogs on a full line here with hunters on the far side of the field. The dogs drive the deer and the hunters do there thing. It is definitely not sporting, that is for sure. That just sit and wait. The game is driven to you.

Yeah, and as ironic as it may be, I kind of feel sorry for the deer that are basically harassed by the dogs and lead to their death. Removes any bit of sport from hunting.

And on that note, I'm thinking about getting a game cam sometime. Would be nice to get a better idea of where all the animals are going.

Maybe. I not talking about some crazy movie stuff, just moving cave to cave looking for that mass murder who attacked us on 9/11. Not for sport, that would be some psycho talk. My Grammer and punctuation might be off, and I'm on my eighth pint for the evening. I'm sorry if I confused anyone.

No worries. Maybe you can find some blm land that borders private land. Often game is pushed onto this type of land and you can take advantage.

Not in the budget this paycheck, unfortunately :(

Tell me what about it. Sucks seeing great deals but deciding it is smarter to hold off.

Hmm, maybe. Honestly, though, the farm is so convenient, I'm pretty happy just sticking around there. 400+ acres gives plenty of spots. Maybe I'll get a bow and try bow hunting next year. Could probably just borrow Brett's since he hardly uses it. Need to build up a little more muscle, though, cause I can hardly draw it now
