kcb37 that is the best looking truck on this thread, my Dad bought me one of those ('50 f-1 with flathead v-8) when I was young. I had to sell it to pay bills, should have sold the wife and kids;). I wish I could find one of those again.

i have to say, these trucks aredefinetly built to last, i feel like im going to break my truck but i havent, i had it at WOT for a min today gettin on the highway, hold strong. Wouldnt want to do it everyday, but it does the job well

cowmilker.
I kinda like it cause like I said it's a cool old truck, but my dad was born in 49. He started buggin me about a week or two ago to start taking the body off when it gets warm to clean the frame. So in 2 or 3 months the body is going to come off.
I think he wants to see it done and wants to be able to drive it once or twice.
I just don't know if I want to restore it or build it.
The engine is froze bad.
I think I am going to pull it and take it apart and see if I can rebuild it.
I just think that would be cool to have something like that factoy. Not a whole lot of people can even drive them anymore. (non sychro tranny)
I will say I haven't done it but I do know hoe.
I would love to drive that truck fully restored down a budy street fully restored. Their wouldn't be one person that wouldn't have to look at the old truck still running and looking good. Think of the look on their face when you open the hood and they don't see valve covers and spark plugs going right down the middle of the engine.
Ohhh. I think to much.

Restore it!!!!!
Any idiot can just "drop in a 350" and "lower it".
Getting it back on the road like it was when it was new takes skill and determination.

My Pride and Joy

My 1997 F-350 7.3L PSD. This is what it looked like when I bought it. I've since added a black diamondplate WeatherGuard toolbox, black diamondplate DeeZee rail caps, Tymar Performance intake, and a 4 in. downpipe. 108,000K on the ticker my goal is to get it to 300,000 miles.
