Well the weekend is almost upon us, anyone doing anything interesting? As usual my weekend will be spent tinkering on race trucks for next weekend. I have all intentions of having some pork on the grill tomorrow or Sunday rain or shine. And weather permitting I hope to wet a hook or 2. Thinking about going to down to the creek by my house and see what I can scare up. Supposed to be some big bass and catfish, may have too throw some in my pond if I catch any.

Actually Larry, I'd rather be at your place working on trucks, or at a pond, both sound like fine ideas to me. Myself, I'm leaning towards a couple slabs of Baby Back Ribs, or a Brisket in the smoker, and hopefully get some paperwork signed on this house we're wanting to start moving into in the next few weeks.

Our meeting to sign papers have been delayed because we went on vacation on Tennessee, then they went on an Alaskan Cruise after we got back. And her father passed away yesterday, he's been sick for a long time, not sure with what. We gave our condolences and let them know when ever they are ready, to let us know.

So now we're thinking by Monday we'll sign some papers, and hand over some money so we can get the ball going again.

As far as today, I'm dissecting the fridge in the garage, getting it presentable for use in the house in Apex. A "Guy's" shop fridge can get pretty nasty in a few years. I really don't remember eating that!:-X18

Hope everybody fares well with the rain we have headed our way.

Y'all be safe:-wink

Sounds like fun.

Got a starter to install, need to cut a reroute my exhaust to keep it up out if the mud. Then may throw another set of plugs at the old girl.

Well didn't get my pork on the grill fix, the mother-inlaw took us out to dinner for our anniversary last week.

But got the truck up and running good.

Hope everybody's having a good week so far.
I was able to meet with the homeowner yesterday to hand over some money and we signed the lease to the house in Apex, It's a done deal:-X03
They have some more trim painting to do, then having the house professionally cleaned, then we can start taking some box's over.:-X22

Hope everyone is doing well. I thought I might get a little break from our normally hectic pace in August but that hasn't panned out so far. Seem to be just as busy as usual.

Bob, glad you're getting the move sorted out. Let me know if you want to borrow the truck or trailer when you start hauling stuff.

Larry, good luck with the race this weekend. There's a small chance we will be down that way. I'll let you know if we make it over there.

Tony, Matt, Willie, Clint hope y'all are doing well.

Bow season is right around the corner. Can't wait. Also might get a chance to go bear hunting this fall. Hope to get on some dove as well.

Have a good week.

Got an appointment with a dealer Friday night that wants to buy my wife's truck. Guess we shall see what they will offer for it.

Everything looks to be on track for a the race on Saturday.
